The First Few Months

You were such a happy baby. You slept a lot your first few months, and were really mellow and quiet whenever you were awake.We would just be talking and one of us would be holding you, and then we would look down and you would have fallen asleep on our chests.


You gave us your first smiles early on. Your Dad and I would try desperately to get you to do it over and over again.You were a really big baby; well a really long baby. You were in the 95th percentile for your hieght and the 75th percentile for you wieght. We were always so proud to say how big you were. One check up you were even off the chart you were so tall.




You had a lot of hair when you were born, but a lot of it fell out in those first few months. I would lay you down on your back and you liked to turn your head to one side, so you had no hair on that side; and a long tuft of hair on the other. It was really funny looking so I tried to cut it off. I didn't do a very good job and you ended up with a pretty definite line in your hair. (You didn't seem to mind)
