It all began on Friday July 6th. I had worked a 12 hour day at my bakery, and on the way home called a friend who was also pregnant to ask her what contractions felt like. She assured me that what I was feeling were not contractions. It wasn't that bad, so I figured she was right. When I got home, Dad was home already. Niether of us wanted to cook so we decided to order chinese food. Right after we ordered I realized that my water was leaking and I was going into labor. Dad went to go get the chinese food, and I hopped into the shower, knowing that I wouldn't get one for a little while. I got together all our things for the hospital and was ready when Dad walked in the door. He got home, we ate our chinese food, and we were off to the hospital.
We arrived at around 11pm. I thought that I wanted to have a natural birth so I endured the pain of the contrations for around 4 hours. At 3:30am I had had enough and asked for an epidural. After the epidural your Dad and I were able to get some much needed sleep. You arrived into the world at 7:52am. You were born 7/7/07 and you were the 7th delivery of the night....lucky guy!
You weighed 8 pounds 6 ounces and were 21.5 inches long. You had dark hair and greyish blue eyes.
