I know that I will look back on this and laugh at how much I worried, but over the weekend you had a really high fever. I called the doctor to make sure we didn't have to come in and she reassured me that giving you Tylenol was all that I could do. So we did and waited for you to get better, but you still had a really tough day on Saturday.
You were so tired on Sat night and yet wouldn't fall asleep so I asked your Dad to give you a blessing to help you feel better. He came in and gave you a father's blessing. Then he left and I kept trying to put you to sleep. After just a few minutes your Dad walked in with more medicine. While he was downstairs he realized we hadn't given you enough, because it was Children's Motrin instead of Infant's Motrin. We gave you the rest of your medicine and I rocked you to sleep. You slept through the night, just waking to eat like you usually do. The Lord had answered our prayer, and fulfilled the blessing by inspiring your Dad to know what to do. It may not been the answer the way we were expecting, but it was still our own little miracle. Throughout your life there will be many instances like this....where things just work out, but nothing happens by chance. The Lord is always answering your prayers, even if it is not the way you expected Him to.
